Shirley Davis

Shirley Combs Davis, 74, of Lancaster died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born Oct. 17, 1936 in Allock, Perry County, KY to the late Matt and Clercy Turner Combs. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Clay Davis of Lancaster; a son, Michale Davis (Linda) of Danville, two daughters, Klayetta Schneider (Randall) of Cynthiana and Kathie Phillips (Rodney) of Stanford; a brother, Donald Lee Combs and a sister, Imogene Banks of Littleton, CO; six grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Stanford, Funeral Service will be 1 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Reverend Jim Cook will be officiating the service.

Casketbearers will be Rodney Phillips, Randall Schneider, Matt Henson, Nick Miller, Steve Pruitt and

Bubba Brummet; Honorary Bearers will be Bob and Wanda Creech, Margaret Phillips, Grandchildren: Pamela Schneider, Jenny Henson, Stephanie Davis, Zachary Schneider, Tyler Phillips and Jessica Phillips.

Memorials in Leiu of flowers may be given to Hospice of the Bluegrass and or Gideons International.
