Billy Rowe, 51, of Stanford died Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born May 16, 1960 in Garrard County to Bonnie Payne Rowe and the late William Henry Rowe. He was a carpenter and a member of Watts Chapel Baptist Church. Billy enjoyed participating in mission trips, one to Gulfport, Missippii and another to New Orleans, LA, helping the people of those communities build back after suffering from massive hurricane damage. Most of all he enjoyed witnessing for Jesus Christ his savior.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Rowe of Stanford, KY; Three children, Caylee Rowe of Stanford, Robert Meadows of Irving, TX and Erin Garrison Johnston of Richmond, KY; his mother, Bonnie Payne Rowe of Stanford, KY; four brothers and sisters, Richard Rowe, Johnny Rowe, Darlene Spillman and Christi Rowe all of Stanford; 2 grandchildren; 13 nieces and nephews, 25 great-nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by a sister Debbie Sue Rowe and an infant son.

Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2012, from 5-9, funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012, all at Spurlin Funeral Home. Reverends Dan Gutenson, Gary King, Stewert Dawson and Terry Holt will be officiating the services. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.

Casketbearers will be John William Hall, Jonathan Floyd, Johnny Lee Rowe, Joe Atkins, Tommy Mullins and David Neal.
