Obituary:
Robert L. Poncer, 82, of Jefferson Ave. Danville, passed away October 11, 2014 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Sally Mullins Poncer.
Robert was born January 5, 1932 to the late William and Maude Crisler Poncer. Robert spent 39 years with Southern Railroad Co. and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons William Poncer(Carolyn) of Lexington, and John Poncer(Stacy) of N.C.; a daughter Debra Hoover of Tennessee, and Marianna Brown(Dan) of Richmond; a brother William R. Poncer(Grace) of Ft. Wright KY; a niece Patty Marks; eleven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services 11:00 AM Wednesday October 15, 2014 at Preston-Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Don Fortner officiating. Visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Active Pallbearers are the grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers are Sarah Brown and Jess Garner
