Richard Weaver

Richard "Dick" Weaver, 85, of Danville passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at home. Born Aug. 9, 1929 in Danville, he was the son of the late Lewis and Helen Mobley Weaver. He was retired from Coca-Cola and served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of Junction City First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Richard "Dickie" Weaver and 1 daughter, Debbie Weaver.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elfrieda "Botchie" Harris Weaver; 1 son, Steve (Kay) Weaver of Danville; 1 sister, Betty Lou Rainey of Lexington; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 pm, Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Choe Sergent with burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 11 am - 1 pm, Thursday.
