Pina Nutgrass

Pina Faye Ellis Nutgrass, 93, of Stanford passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Born February 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Qualls Ellis.  She was a member of Maxey Valley First Church of God and she loved to crochet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn D. Nutgrass; son, Ronald Nutgrass; and granddaughter, Shelley Nutgrass. Pina is survived by a daughter, Janet (Wayne) Lister of Junction City; sister, Evelyn Peyton of Liberty; grandchildren: Barkley (Penny) Lister of Perryville; Glenda (Jake) Yadon of Junction City; Kristi Allen of Boyle County and Joseph Nutgrass of Jamestown; 12 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Services will be at 11 am Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Rev. Jake Yadon and Rev. Marshall Malone with burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are James Peyton, Monty Atwood, Marty Atwood, Tommy Joe Smith, David Smith and Danny Smith. Honorary pallbearers are the great grandchildren.  Visitation is 6-9 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
