Patricia Mae Releford, 67, wife of LeRoy Releford of Parksville died Sunday December 22, 2013 at Kindred Health Care in Danville after a long illness. She was born Mar. 11, 1946 in Harrodsburg to the late James Edward Merchant, Sr. and Marie Naylor Merchant of Harrodsburg. She was a graduate of Central KY Technical College and retired as an administrative assistant for Boyle County Senior Citizens. She was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church. While her hobbies included sewing and cooking; caring for her grandchildren brought her the most joy.
Additional survivors include: One son Kenneth "Dud" (Dolly) Releford, Jr. of Harrodsburg; three daughters Tammy (Robby) Wilham of Harrodsburg, Tanya (Kevin) McMullin of Parksville and Kristi (Chico) Gonzalez-Releford of Nicholasville. Two brothers James Edward (Butch) (JoAnn) Merchant Harrodsburg, Robert "Bobby" Gordon (Anna) Merchant of Elizabethtown. Ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive.
One sister Barbara Taylor preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Releford and Bro. Ernest Fields, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens with Jason Wilham, Kent Wilham, Brandon Wilham, Derrick Releford, Doug Taylor and Isaiah Frye. Honorary pallbearers will be Ashley Releford, Haley McMullin-Stacy, Jordan McMullin, Jayla Frye, and Jairo Gonzalez-Releford.
Visitation will be Mon. 5:00 -8:00 P.M. at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and after 7:00 A. M. Tues.
