Orville Curtis

Orville Curtis of Stanford, formerly of Danville, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022.  Born June 17, 1931, he was the son of the late Arnold Tyle and Mary Jane Dunaway Curtis.  He was a US Army Veteran and was retired from Corning and Phillips after having worked there for 38 years.  He loved ballroom dancing and western dancing.

Orville is survived by his daughter, Debbie Ann Conway of Frankfort; son, Tommy Dale Curtis of Danville; grandchildren: Eric and Aaron Curtis and Elizabeth Keeley; and great grandchildren: Anthony Keeley, Lucy Keith, and Sawyer Curtis.  He was preceded in death by a son, Russell Orville; brothers, Clyde, Arnold, and Earl Curtis; and sisters, Irene McCloud, Bernice Gaddis Hanson, and Mattie Chandler.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with burial at Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Ray Graves, Mike Graves, Freddie Smith, Paul Jackson, Aaron Curtis, and Eric Curtis.
