Mary Davenport

Mary Evelyn Davenport, 88 of Lexington, formally of Junction City died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Lexington. She was the widow of John Marion Davenport. Born July 4, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Rose Ann Snow Gibson. Mary Evelyn was a member of the Junction City United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Palm Beach in Danville.

Her survivors include one daughter, Anita Gayle Combs of Lexington; one son, Johnny (Debbie) Keith Davenport of Junction City; one sister, Ruth Atwood of Lexington; two grandchildren Ashley (Eric) East and Nick (Jamie) Combs and three great grandchildren: Kasey, Caleb and David.

Funeral Services will be at 1 pm, Thursday, December 29 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Choe Sergent with burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is after 11 am, Thursday.
