Marshall Qualls, 90, of Junction City passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Born September 19, 1932, he was the son of the late James S. and Myrtle Wilson Qualls.
Marshall retired from Genesco where he had worked for 42 years. He is a member of Junction City United Methodist Church. Marshall loved camping, building campfires, piddling on the farm, and fixing things for everyone else.
Marshall is survived by his wife of 68 years, Darlene Vanoy Qualls; sons, David (Cindy) Qualls of Danville and Gary Qualls of Junction City; daughter, Vickie (Ray) Lay of Danville; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Junior, Clarence, and Lawrence Qualls and four sisters: Lyda Pendygraft, Peachie Snow, Bessie Qualls, and Ruby Merrell.
Visitation is 5-8 pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11 am, Wednesday. Pallbearers are Bradley Engle, Joshua Qualls, Jeremy Qualls, Jacob Qualls, Max Piscatelli, and Steve Hasty. The burial is at Danville Memorial Gardens.
