Julian Farmer

October 23, 1942 — January 3, 2017

Julian Farmer, age 74, of Clark Street in McKinney, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born Friday, October 23, 1942 in the White Lily Community of Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Varnard Ervin & Gladys Bray Farmer. Julian retired from Asplundh, where he worked many years as a Foreman. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, and boating.

Julian leaves behind three sons, Jeffery V. Farmer (Lisa) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Anthony Wayne Farmer of Harrodsburg, and J.R. Kennedy of McKinney; five daughters, Julia Candler of Danville, Dana Garrett (Brian) of Liberty, Teresa Mitchell (Shannon) of Stanford, Bobbie Jo Caldwell (Jason) of McKinney, and Renee Fields (Doug) of Somerset; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Shirley Walls and Gloria Woodrum both of Danville, and Theresa Stamper of Stanford.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, January 6, 2017 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Yocum & Ricky King officiating the service. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. J.R. Kennedy, Jonathan Adams, Josey Fields, Allen Braden, Lonnie Brown, and Ricky King will serve as Active Pallbearers. Keith Austin and Ersel Brown will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 6-9PM Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the funeral home.
