Julia Christeen Bottom, 67, of Junction City, passed away April 25, 2019 at her home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 19, 1951 to the late Joseph and Ruey Belcher. Christeen is survived by her loving husband, Edward "Lynn" Bottom.
Christeen was an auditor for many years and was a member of Alum Springs Church of God. She was an avid reader and loved her grandchildren and family dearly. She babysat most of her family, who fondly called her Mimi.
Along with her husband Lynn, surviving is a son, Brandon Bottom (Ann) of Danville; four daughters, Shellie Adams (Chad) of Junction City, Angie Russell of Junction City, Corey Peyton of Hustonville and Kara Lear of Junction City; a sister, Sherry Denson (Gary) of Junction City; grandchildren: Micah Pass, Daniel Adams, Chelsea Stollings, Olivia Sinkhorn, Serenity Lear, Dustin Lear, Lacey Peyton, Logan Peyton, Sami Bottom and Ella Bottom; and great grandchildren, Laci West, Macie Pass, Caleb Pass, Crosby Pass, Brantley Adams and Brooklyn Stollings.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Teresa Buck.
Funeral services 1PM Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Lear officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2019 from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Bottom, Austin Bodner, Ethan White, Micah Pass, Joseph Wilson, Landon Myers, Daniel Adams and Dustin Lear.
Honorary pallbearers are Josh Denson, Chad Adams, Dave Pendygraft, Joey Wilson, Amanda Hasty and Hannah Buck.
