Judy Rice

Judy Ann Tankersley Rice, 63, of Junction City passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 surrounded by her family. Born December 31, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Harold J. and Mary M. Reeder Tankersley. Judy was a devoted private caregiver and was loved by those she cared for. She was a graduate of Hustonville High School Class of 1973. She was an avid crafter and creator.

Judy is survived by her husband of 46 years, Darrell Rice; son, Shawn (Melissa) Rice of Junction City; daughter, Megan (Keith) Cash of Hustonville; grandchildren, Kegan Cash and Taylin Rice; and her fur babies, Toby and Tucker. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary O. Hreha.

Visitation is 6-9 pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:30 am, Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with Bro. David Fralix, officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Shawn Rice, Keith Cash, Kegan Cash, Roger Schnitzler, Danny Pike and Lynn Sherwood. Honorary pallbearers are Dan Beckman, Larry Rice, Timmie Rice, Tony Hunt, John Dickinson, Kevin Ellis, Dr. Jon Walz and Robert Johnson. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Heritage Hospice.
