Juanita Catherine Nevius Ball

Juanita Catherine Nevius Ball, 89, widow of William Donald Ball, died Monday, October 23, 2023 at The Willows of Harrodsburg. Born September 6, 1934 in Boyle County she was the daughter of the late John C. and Ophelia Preston Nevius. She was a retired Lab Tech for Keightley, Moore and Whalen, M.D. She was a member of Carpenter's Christian Church and a charter member of the Business and Professional Women.

Survivors include: one son: David (Jeaneane) Ball of Salvisa; one daughter: Donna (Steve) Anderson of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren: Derek (Andrea) Ball, Jay (Natalie) Anderson, Justin (Jill) Ball, Ami (Jared) Wilcox; ten great grandchildren: Logan, Mason, and Brennan Ball, Henry and Hudson Anderson, Owen and Landon Ball and Jaycie, Cooper and Lia Cate Wilcox; and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Bobby Nevius and Billy Nevius.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Jacob Bryant, Larry Camic and John Kesel officiating. Burial will be in the Danville Memorial Gardens with Derek Ball, Jay Anderson, Justin Ball, Jared Wilcox, Bryan Nevius, Chad Nevius, Chuck Nevius and Keith Preston serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ami Wilcox, Andrea Ball, Natalie Anderson, Jill Ball, Lee Magliulo, Brady Nevius, Cindy Sallee, Nicole McCoin and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
