Earl Lynn, Sr, 80, of Liberty passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 in Lexington. He was born November 9, 1939 in Middleburg and was the son of the late Walter and Montie Wilson Lynn. He was of the Baptist Faith. He served his country in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era. After 20 years, he retired from the National Guard and worked at Kentucky School for The Deaf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lynn, and 1 daughter, Elizabeth “Jody” Gallegos.
He is survived by 1 son, James (Stephanie) Lynn, Jr. of Liberty; 5 daughters: Rebecca (Gene) Herring of Harrodsburg, Connie Lynn of Danville, Wendy Lynn of Danville, Monica Lynn of Liberty, and Brandi Lynn of Danville; 1 stepson, Michael Lee Polston of Danville; 1 sister, Patty Kimberling of Parksville; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services at 1 pm Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 11am-1pm Thursday.
Military rites will be by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion.
