Hershel Wilder

Hershel Wilder, 71, passed away Thursday May 12, 2016. Hershel was born June 21, 1944 in Eglon, Kentucky a son of the late Thea and Ethel Callahan Wilder and was the husband of 36 years to the late Patricia Carol Mitchell Wilder.
Mr. Wilder was a self-employed finish carpenter and after retiring enjoyed farming.
Survivors include his children, Stacy (Ronnie) Spoonamore, Danita (Wayne) Click, Marita Paige, Becky (Wayne) Paige, Ricky (Shauna) Wilder, step children, Shelly Robinson, Robbie Stagner, 13 grandchildren, 2 Step-grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, 1 step great-grandchild, and a step great-grandchild "on the way".
The funeral service for Mr. Wilder will be 1:00 p.m., Monday May 16, 2016 at Wilder Funeral Home in Perryville officiated by Bro. Harold Best. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Pallbearers will be Austin & Andrew Spoonamore, Kenneth "Pup" Wilder, Jr., Marvin Wilder, David Wilder and Terry Wilder.
