Helen Howard

Helen Conley Howard, 77, of Lancaster passed away Thursday at the Christian Care Center. She was born in Magoffin County. She is survived by her husband Hobert Howard. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Leona Conley.


She was a florist, homemaker, and a member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Chruch. Also surviving is a son Barry Howard , two daughters Rita Darlene Moberly(Jimmy) and Diane Prewitt(Kieth) all of Lancaster. Two brothers Harold Conley(Sue) of Lexington, and Carlos Conley(Francis) of Lancaster; two sisters Jaunita Gullet(Harry) of Lancaster, and Felcie Bandy(Roger) of Junction City.


Thirteen Grandchildren and seven Great-Grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her son Larry Howard and grandson Jimmy Shane Moberly; Four brothers, Elmon, Arbie, Melvin, and Garnel Conley; Two sisters, Ella mae Naylor and Earlene Patrick.


Funeral services will be 10:A.M. Monday November 8, 2010 at the Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel , officiated by the Reverened Jerry Browning. Visitation Sunday 5-9 P.M.Burial will be in the Danville Memorial Gardens.


Pallbearers will be Ryan Vice, Jared Prewitt, Toy Howard, Jonathon Noe, Daniel Lamb, and Jason Caudill. Honorary; Kieth Prewitt, Jimmy Moberly, VanDell Howard and Gary Ledford.
