Edith W. Henson, 88, of Stanford died Wednesday at Golden Living Center in Stanford. She was born June 14, 1922 in Lincoln County to the late John David and Mary Alice McCowan Westerfield. She was the widow of McClelland "Mack" Henson. She was a past employee of Genesco in Danville for 20 years and had been self employed. She was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons- Ben Henson (Wanda) of Danville and John M. Henson (Wilma) of Stanford; a brother J.D. Westerfield of Danville; two sisters Katherine Banker and Mattie Hasty both of Ohio; 6 grandchildren-Michael, James, Roger, Billy and Mark Henson and Adreane Jones; 15 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and several neices and nephews; She was preceded in death by a son Billy Wayne Henson Sr., 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 P.M., Funeral Service will be at 11 A.M. Saturday at Spurlin Funeral Home. Reverend Dale Denton will be officiating.

Casketbearers will be grandchildren.
