Donnie Ray King

Donnie Ray King, 65, of Parksville, passed away May 14, 2023 at his home. He was born February 21, 1958 in Parksville to the late Calvin and Ruby King.

Donnie graduated from Boyle County High School and was a lifetime cattle farmer. He also worked for Phillips Lighting and Donnelly for many years. He was a good hearted and generous person, who loved his family and all animals.

Surviving is a daughter, Frances Neal (Ed) of Danville; his brothers and sisters, Johnny Darrell King (Laura) of Parksville, Mark Jeffrey King of Parksville, Carolyn Marie Murphy (Johnny) of Stanford and Rebecca Mae Crowe (Jay) of Parksville; nieces and nephews, Tracy King, Kevin King, Brent Cornett, Dustin Cornett, and Katie Crowe and many great nieces and nephews. Also, he is survived by his cats, whom he dearly loved, Little Bit, Tiger, Precious, Panther, Snowball, Bambi and Fred.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents; a brother, David Allen King; and former wife and lifelong friend, Ruth King.

Funeral services will be 11am Friday, May 19, 2023 with Bro. Junior Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

Pallbearers will be Brent Cornett, Dustin Cornett, Kevin King, Gary King, Bobby Caldwell and Joe Mayes.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jay Crower and Johnny Murphy.
