David Logan Wren, 73, of Danville, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018. Born April 15, 1945, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Bertha Wilkerson Wren. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Terrell Wren; two sons, Woody Wren of Danville and Todd (Andrea) Wren of Washington County; four grandchildren: Drew, Andrealynne, Anna Brook and Haleigh (James Thompson) Wren; one great grandson, Hayden Thompson; two brothers, Glenn (Linda) Wren of Danville and Curtis (Charlotte) Wren of Perryville; two sisters, Jenny (Wesley) Boyd of Danville and Brenda Hillard of Parksville and the late Kenny Hillard. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry.
David loved to fish and watch UK Basketball games. He attended Burgin Church of God. He was retired from Caverndale Farms and had worked for Logan Fox Spoonamore.
Services will be at 1 pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Rev. Donnie Irvin with burial at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is after 11 am, Tuesday. Honorary pallbearer is his best friend, Bennie Selby. Pallbearers are Drew Wren, Kevin Wren, Brian Wren, Shane Wren, Rodney Wren, James Thompson, Don Hillard and Scott Boyd.
