PARKSVILLE - David Allen King, age 49 passed away Wednesday May 16, 2012 at his residence. Mr. King was born August 8, 1962 in Danville, Kentucky to Calvin Ray and Ruby Louise Shepperson King.
David was a self-employed painter, and he enjoyed flower gardening, playing cornhole, watching NASCAR, in particular his favorite driver, Jimmy Johnson, was a sports lover, especially football and basketball and enjoyed having cookouts with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by three brothers, Donnie (Reda) King of Danville, Johnny (Laura) King and Mark King, two sisters, Carol (Sonny) Cornett, Becky (Jay) Crowe all of Parksville, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Preston Pruitt Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Fields officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Monday, May 21, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kevin King, Keith and Kevin Baker, Brent and Dustin Cornett, and Jay Crowe. Honorary bearers will be Sonny Cornett, Anthony Barrow, Nathan Sparks and Ray Lay.
