David Coleman, age 64, Harrodsburg, husband of Teresa Hart Coleman, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born December 13, 1954 in Clarksville, TN, he was the son of the late James and Mildred (Greene) Coleman. He was the former owner of Shell Mart in Danville, a manager of Walmart both in Harrodsburg and Stanford, played the piano by ear and sang, loved to play golf and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Danville.
Survivors other than his wife include: two daughters Rachel Coleman of Lexington and Amy (Eric) Richards of Houston, TX; one sister LaDonna Florendo of Knoxville, TN and one brother Jimmy (Sheila) Coleman of Clarksville, TN; two grandchildren Hannah Mae Richards and James David Richards both of Houston, TX and several nieces and nephews. Other than his parents David was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Coleman and a sister Carolyn Weatherford.
Funeral services will be conducted 6:30 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church, 2734 Old Stanford Road in Danville by Pastor Don Fortner. Committal Services and burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in the Danville Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4627 Old Stanford Road in Danville with Larry Criss officiating.
Pallbearers are: M.J. Hart, Jr., M.J. Hart III, Blair Pittman, Camillo Florendo, Eric Richards, Gary True, Tom Castle and Rex Bartley.
Honorary bearers are Branden Hart, Michael Lynch, Mario Florendo, Cody Henson, Mark Henson, Tommy Sallee, Larry Criss and Michael Campbell.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm at the Grace Baptist Church in Danville.
