Clara Maude Lanham Milburn, 89, of Danville died Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Born October 10, 1923 in Washington Co. she was a daughter of the late Charlie Brown and Mattie Jane Shanks Lanham. She was a graduate of Perryville High School and a member of Junction City First Baptist Church. Clara was a member of the Boyle Co. Homemakers club. She was predeceased by two sisters; Gladys Wesley and Mabel Grugin and two brothers; Globel Lanham and Charles Lanham.
She is the widow of Frank "Dub" Wolford Milburn.
Clara is survived by three sons; Bruce (Sue) Milburn of Henderson, Roger Milburn of Campbellsville and Danny B. (Helen) Milburn of Danville, two sisters; Golden Wilson Crouch of Danville and Margaret Bandy of Louisville, six grandchildren; David (Dilissa) Milburn, Shane (Patricia) Milburn, Bryan (Kelly) Milburn, Crystal (Lenny) Sims, Eric Milburn and Chad (Amy) Milburn, eight great-grandchildren; Brianna Sims, Sidney Milburn, Bryce Shrull, Brett Shrull, Jay Milburn, Carter Milburn, Ty Milburn and Andrew Milburn. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at Junction City First Baptist Church. Rev. Ernest Martin, Rev. Choe Sargent and Rev. Dale Denton will officiate. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Junction City First Baptist Church.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Hosparus of Central Kentucky or the building fund of Junction City First Baptist Church.
