Carlis Miller

Carlis J. Miller, age 76, Harrodsburg, widower of Carolyn Jeanette (McFerron) Miller, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born December 28, 1940 in Jamestown, KY, he was son of the late J.B. and Caldonnia (West) Miller and was a self-employed farmer.
Survivors include: one daughter Diane (Tom) Nichols and one son Carlis (Tammy) Miller, Jr. both of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister Ann (Al) Johnson of Everett, WA and one brother Alvin Miller of Harrodsburg, KY; three grandchildren Tammy Nichols of Harrodsburg, KY, Danny Nichols of Danville, KY and Kaylee Miller of Harrodsburg, KY. Other than his wife, Carlis was preceded in death by a sister Monie Horton and a brother J.G. Miller.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Sims Funeral Services by John Kesel with burial to follow in the Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 12 noon until the time of service at Sims Funeral Services.

Pallbearers are Timmy Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Charles McFerron Jr., William McFerron, Billy Votaw and Roy Lee Cox Jr.
