Carl Michael Long, 63, of Stanford, KY died Wednesday, September 13, 2012 at home. He was born in Danville, KY February 3, 1949, to the late Carl and Ruth House Long. He was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church and the Stanford Masonic Lodge #60.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Ann Long of Stanford, KY, one daughter; Kisha Buis (P.J.) of Lancaster, KY, one grandson; Brantley Caleb Buis, and Tipton his faithful furry friend.
Visitation will be Monday, September 17, 2012 from 5-9pm and funeral will be Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 11am with Reverend Johnny Thomposn officiating. Both services will be held at Willow Grove Baptist Church and burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.Casketbearers will be: Bruce Rankin, Bobby Grubbs, Johnny Wilcher, Laurentt Nash, Tony House, and Keith Hamm. Spurlin Funeral Home (Stanford) is in charge of arrangements.
