Benny Thompson

Benny Ray Thompson, 62 of Stanford died Thursday, September 24, 2015. Born January 27, 1953, he was the son of Gladys Griffin Naylor of Danville and the late Ben Thompson. He is survived by his girlfriend of 22 years, Shelia Pike of Stanford; 3 daughters: Penny (Michael) Benedict of Waynesburg and Frankie Jo Thompson and Amanda Thompson, both of Stanford; 2 sons: Nathan (Stephanie) Thompson of Kings Mt. and Michael Thompson of Lexington; 2 brothers: Bobby and Kenny Thompson of Danville; 4 sisters: Brenda Thompson, Lucida Boswell, Kim Naylor and Sue Naylor, all of Danville; and five grandchildren: Kayla, Cody, Cameron, Skyler and Braylee.
Services will be at 11 am, Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5-9 pm, Sunday.
