Avery Dodson

Avery "A.D" Dodson, 82 of Crab Orchard, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his home on Old Fall Lick Road. Born Monday, May 29, 1933 in Wayne County, he was a son of the late Marshall & Jess Dodson. He was a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Dodson.
Survivors include his wife Azline Kidd Dodson, sons; Bill (Christine) Dodson, of Mt. Sterling, Gary (Rhonda) Dodson, of Crab Orchard, daughter; Linda (Ken) Schultz of Bradenton, Florida, grandchildren; Brandy Durman, Anthony, Josh, Harper, & Alyssa Dodson, great-grandchildren; Brayden Durham, Nathan, Matthew, Eli, & Ethan Dodson.
Funeral service will be 12 Noon Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Victory Christian Church with Rev. Brad King officiating and burial following at Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Anthony Dodson, Josh Dodson, Zack Brewer, Billy Joe Arnold, Bobby Turpin, Chris Toombs, Gerald Smith, & Gary Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers include Bradley Helms, & Frank Horton. Visitation will be 10AM Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Victory Christian Church until service time.
